Dear Church,

    I’d like to take a moment to tell you about some exciting news within the life of our church and many other churches that we partner with in ministry. As many of you know, for years we have been a part of the Cursillo Renewal weekends that have changed so many lives, many from our own church. It has been instrumental in challenging and re-shaping the faith journey of so many people and it has led to an increase in spiritual growth and leadership within the church.

    Over the years we have seen a decline in attendance, due to many different factors, and felt that it was time to make a change. The leadership has been working on this and we are excited to say that we have completely re-shaped the weekend and we are ready to finally get started again. Beginning this Fall, November 4-6 we will be hosting our new Weekend of Grace and we want you to be involved! This weekend retreat will be open to everyone in our church who is looking for a time away to rest, reflect, and grow in their faith. It is an incredible time of worship and teaching, of reflection and renewal and we hope you’ll be involved.

     Here are some of the details for the upcoming weekend. We will meet Friday afternoon at 4:30 in Gallman, MS at Camp Wesley Pines.. The retreat ends Sunday at 12:30 so that you can be home by Sunday afternoon.
