Children's Ministry

We believe children are a vital part of our community of faith at FPC. Worship, classes, fellowship and special events are designed to equip them with the tools necessary to be followers of Jesus. We welcome all children to participate in any or all of the opportunities provided here at FPC, and we certainly hope they enjoy their time with us!
Sunday Mornings
Sunday School classes are offered from 9:45 to 10:45 each Sunday, and we are currently using the Gospel Project for Kids Curriculum as a guide for navigating through Bible stories and lessons.
2 years - Pre K
Ages: 2-4

K-2nd
Ages: 5-8

3rd-4th
Ages: 8-10
Location: 103-B

Bible Zone
Prior to the sermon in both services, children ages four to third grade are led to Bible Zone in Room 106-B. Bible Zone is designed to teach the Bible through stories, games, video and crafts.
Nursery and Toddlers
A nursery is provided for ages birth to three from 8:30 am until 12:00 pm. Our babies are provided professional, loving care each week by Ashleigh Scott, Jessica Baker, and Kaleigh Broom in 102-B.
Wednesday Night Bible Study
Children meet on Wednesday nights at 6:00 pm in the Bible Zone room on the children’s hall for lessons, games and art. Dinner is also served in Schneider Hall at 5:15 p.m. for $5 per person or $20 max per family.
Vacation Bible School
VBS is planned for a week each summer for ages four through fourth grade. VBS is open to all children and is a fun-filled week of praise!
Special Events are scheduled throughout the year to provide fellowship opportunities for our youngest members. These events include Trunk or Treat at Halloween, Christmas parties, Easter picnics and more.
